Staff Teaching Awards & Prizes

Avondale has an established history of academic staff being featured at a national level. When the national Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT) and the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) were operational, Avondale academic leaders across a range of disciplines were recipients of Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning. These citations recognise and reward the sustained contribution that these staff members (both current and now retired) have made to the quality of student learning at Avondale.
Recipients include:

Carolyn Rickett awarded 2011 Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning

“For inspiring and innovative teaching methods that enable Communication students to develop confidence and participate in authentic learning experiences”.

Associate Professor Daniel Reynaud awarded 2009 Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning

Dr Darren Morton awarded 2008 Recipient of an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning
