Professor Maria Northcote is the Director of Higher Degree Research at Avondale University College. She is an experienced higher education teacher, leader and researcher and is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education, and professional development. She was recently appointed a Fellow of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) in recognition of her service to higher education and her commitment to ongoing professional development in teaching and learning.
