Dr Joanne Lewis is a palliative care clinician and academic and has a strong academic profile in teaching and learning, academic leadership, curriculum development and research. Her PhD thesis explored the needs and capacities of lower socioeconomic population for end-of-life care

Joanne's research expertise is in qualitative and mixed methods research with specific skills in framework analysis. She has published widely and supervises Honours and PhD students

Joanne has a decade of teaching expertise and has received a number of teaching and learning grants. She has significant experience in curriculum development in health and nursing (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) for credentialled and accredited programs.
